ABOut the author
Jonathan Wynn is a current player in the National Football League. He plays defensive end and is going into his third year for the Detroit Lions. Off the field, he lives up to his #AthleteAnd campaign by prospering in creative endeavors, such as running a clothing line called You Know I'm Prolly and being an avid writer in his spare time.
Growing up in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Jonathan was an active kid that loved to play outside and watch television. His imagination ran wild as a kid with numerous Christmas sing-a-longs made with his sister, living room performances in front of his parents, and classic daydreams when he was done running around. For him, a lot of daydreams came and went, but more daydreams came and happened as he grew up. The dream of playing football on the highest stage came to fruition with a lovely career at his alma mater, Stephenson High School. Jonathan became a top recruit and was granted a scholarship to attend Vanderbilt University. There, he played great SEC football in the wonderful city of Nashville and turned himself into a great player for the Vanderbilt football team and a great student, graduating with a B.S. degree in 2017.
Double majoring in Educational Studies and History, Jonathan did not begin to flex his writing muscle until his senior year, coming up with stories and sharing his ideas with peers. Once, it appeared to him that he was a good writer and a creative, he put into action his ideas. He wrote the short story of Summer Juice in 2019 during his second-year summer, while also selling his clothing line on the side. Having a memorable 2019 season, Jonathan continues to write, create, and play football, utilizing all his seeds that God has blessed him to have in 2020.
